A seamless start to your day: Meet at 8:30 AM in the heart of Puerto Vallarta’s Romantic Zone, where your adventure begins.
Relax on the scenic ride: A comfortable 45-minute bus journey takes you into the lush hills, coatside vistas, and river canyon majesty setting the stage for discovery.
Guided exploration: Spend up to two hours strolling through the upper gardens on easy paths. Instead of wandering aimlessly, you’ll feel immersed in stories, traditions, and the natural wonders around you.
A delicious pause: Around noon, enjoy time at the main center—browse the charming gift shop and savor lunch at the award-winning restaurant - Hacienda de Oro, where sweeping views of the canyon and gardens make every bite unforgettable.
Playful river moments: After lunch, take a gentle 15-minute walk to the river. Swim, rest, or simply soak in the joy of nature for about an hour. It’s a chance to feel refreshed, carefree, and connected to the landscape.

Practical Notes

Walking difficulty: Easy to moderate (a few hills, gravel paths, and stairs). Those who prefer not to walk to the river can relax in the gardens or enjoy the restaurant’s lounge with stunning views.
What to bring: Comfortable shoes, hat, water, bug spray, and an umbrella (for shade or rain). Rain is celebrated here—it cools the air and adds magic to the gardens. (rainy season May through September)
Lunch is not included, but the restaurant offers life-long memorable dining.
Gardens admission is included, along with a fun lesson on taking public buses in Puerto Vallarta (bus fare not included, approx. 50 pesos each way).
