Half-Day Guided Botanical Garden Tour with Biologist Guide

Meet in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta at 8:30 am.  We will bus to the Botanical Gardens approximately 45 minutes away.  At the Botanical Gardens we will explore (very easy walking) up to 2 hours in the major plantings of the Botanical Gardens.  (Guide is usually University of Guadalajara educated Guide Abraham)

ESSENTIALS 

• Walking Difficulty: Easy  (a few inclines and dirt or gravel paths and stairs)

• Meet at 8:30 AM in the heart of the Romantic Zone (exact location and directions will be in your email confirmation after reserving.  ​

• Finish tour at 12:00 pm at the gardens.  Use the rest of the day to eat lunch at the gardens or visit the river a short 15 minute hike down hill. Or visit the nearby historic village of El Tuito.  

• Wear comfortable walking shoes, hat, and have water or other hydration. 

• Consider bringing bug spray

• Bring a rain umbrella (rainy season June to October) and recommended for hot sunny days for personal shade.  We do not cancel when it rains we celebrate - It is approximately  5 degrees  cooler during a rainstorm.  We may consider a cancellation in the event of a hurricane.  

• In the unlikely event that we only have one participant for a tour we will NOT cancel.  Our guides do not like staying home.  (must be reserved directly through our website)

• Included lesson on taking public buses in PV and to the Botanical Gardens - actual bus fare is not included and part of the learning (around 50 pesos each way (3 USD))   All food and beverages not included.  Cost of garden admission not included and currently 300 pesos per person.  

• Price is $49.50 per person plus VAT with prepaid reservation Taxes are not included in price.  Children are until 12 years of age or younger $29.50 USD.  Teens are 13 to 19 years of age $39.50 USD. Children and teens must be accompanied by adults at all times.

• We collect a deposit at the time of reservations.  The balance is payable at the beginning of the tour to the guide in cash rounded up to the nearest dollar.  You may pay in exact change in USD or in Pesos at the days exchange rate rounded up to nearest peso as published by Google.

• Price does not include customary tip for the adventure leader.  Mexico culture expects 10-20%
